One day two blind men yelled out to Jesus. People tried to tell them to be quiet. But the men kept shouting, asking Him to have pity on them. Suddenly Jesus stopped in His tracks, then asked them, “What do you want me to do for you?” (Matthew 20:32). The blind men said they wanted to see. And so, God honored that request. But the men got so much more in return. Not only did they obtain their vision, but they were also given the eye-opening opportunity to follow this Man of Miracles!
God is asking each of His daughters the same question: “What do you want me to do for you?” He wants her to not let others dissuade her from telling Him exactly what she wants—no matter how impossible or improbable the request may seem. He wants her to be specific, yet also to dream big—for He is a limitless God, ready to do so much more than one woman could ever ask or imagine! He wants her to then begin expecting the unexpected as she continues to travel with Him down the road with a lighter, more joyful step.
Lord, You have planted dreams within me. Power me up. Help me bring them to fruition beyond anything I could ever ask or imagine. To be specific, Lord here’s what I’d like. . .
