Here are my go-to Bible verses when I am feeling lonely. I know someone can use them today. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4)
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! (Psalm 139:17)
And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. (Psalm 9:10)
“Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” (Genesis 28:15)
For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people. (1 Samuel 12:22)
Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted. (Psalm 25:16)
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
“I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)
Remember that God has a purpose even for loneliness. Rather than resent it, let us learn to embrace it and learn from it.
